Bumpa is a platform primarily utilized by users as a website builder for creating online business stores. In addition to that, Bumpa provides a range of services for online businesses, including recording sales, tracking business expenses, and more.
To gain deeper insights into user experiences, I engaged with business owners, conducting interviews and collecting valuable data to inform the research process.
The primary usage of Bumpa among business owners is website building, with many neglecting other available features. This common phenomenon raises questions about feature utilization—whether due to limited need, lack of awareness, learning difficulties, or feature accessibility. Subsequent analysis of the app's flow unveiled potential UX challenges, prompting the exploration of solutions aimed at enhancing user experience while maintaining continuity for existing users.
Reduced Time to Value
Despite a simplified sign-up process and quick domain generation, the "AHA moment" for new users remained elusive. Addressing this, efforts were made to expedite the time it takes for users to witness the immediate impact of their newly created business website.
TO-DO Section Enhancements
While the TO-DO section served as an effective reminder tool, its limitation to three reminders posed a challenge. Solutions were devised to highlight crucial reminders and potentially expand the functionality of this feature for a more comprehensive user experience.
